2000 sportster custom 1200

Posted 09-26-2009 at 11:44 AM by rickashay44
I have a 2000 sportster 1200 custom problem! Need help. You know, the ugly non chrome spoke front rim. Well, I bought a new 40 spoke all chrome rim, but when mounted, the spokes touch the calipre. Hub measures exactly the same size as the old rim. My bike teck says, nothing he can do and he put the old rim back on. The original spokes barely clear the calipre. Anybody know what I can do to get this new rim on my bike and make the spokes clear the calipre..?
